    • Shipping Methods: We exclusively use express shipping (overnight or one-day services) to maintain the health and safety of live marine life.

    2. Packaging and Handling

    • Secure Packaging: All live coral and fish are carefully packaged in insulated, leak-proof containers with heat or cold packs as needed based on current weather conditions.
    • Oxygenated Bags: Each live coral and fish is placed in a breathable, oxygenated bag to maintain ideal conditions during transport.
    • Weather Monitoring: We monitor local and destination weather closely and may delay shipping if conditions could compromise the safety of live items.

    3. Shipping Costs

    • Flat Rate Shipping: We offer a flat-rate fee for live animal shipping, which includes the cost of specialized packaging and express service.
    • Free Shipping Eligibility: Orders over a certain amount may qualify for free shipping, depending on current promotions or ongoing offers. Details are available at checkout.

    4. Live Arrival Guarantee

    • Policy Coverage: We guarantee live arrival for all coral and fish shipments. In the rare event of a DOA (dead on arrival), customers must notify us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos of the items in their unopened packaging.
    • Replacement or Refund: Upon verification, we will offer a replacement or store credit for any DOA items. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and we do not cover losses due to delays by the shipping carrier or extreme weather events.

    5. Unboxing and Acclimation Guidelines

    • Immediate Acclimation: For the best health of your coral and fish, please unbox and start acclimating them to your tank immediately upon arrival. Refer to our acclimation guide included with your order or on our website for safe and successful acclimation steps.
    • Late Arrivals or Delays: Should any shipment be delayed, please reach out to our customer support team as soon as possible so we can assist.

    6. Limitations and Disclaimers

    • Holiday Delays: Shipments may be paused during major holidays or extreme weather conditions. Customers will be notified of any anticipated delays in advance.
